Mike focuses on patent prosecution, intellectual property litigation, and regulatory compliance
Mike was first interested in the legal practice while studying biochemistry and mathematics in undergrad. Enjoying science, but not wanting to be in a laboratory for his career, Mike transitioned over to the legal community, focusing on patent prosecution. Melding his technical background with his legal training, Mike now helps inventors, big and small, and other technologically-driven clients in a multitude of services.
Mike emphasizes reducing complex ideas into simple, explanatory concepts. This is helpful in all aspects of his practice areas. Ranging from FDA compliance to startup inventors drafting their first novel idea, Mike’s clients come from many areas and many mindsights. Prior to joining Revision Legal, Mike clerked at the Ninth Circuit Court of Kalamazoo County where he gained an inside perspective into litigation and court proceedings, which has proven invaluable in his private practice.
Outside of the office, Mike and his partner Pierce enjoy spending their time playing video games, relaxing at the lake, and hanging out with their two cats.
