Revision Legal

Revision Legal is hiring a paralegal. Specifically, we are looking for an intelligent and self-motivated individual who will provide our attorneys with high quality substantive and procedural legal and administrative work.

Revision Legal is an international intellectual property and business law firm. We help large and small businesses produce value for their clients. We identify, protect, and enforce the intellectual property rights of businesses, we help them navigate through government and private regulation, we help them avoid legal and non-legal risk, and, when necessary, we litigate for them in state and federal courts throughout the United States. Our clients range in size from small startups to multimillion-dollar companies, and their corporate offices are situated in places ranging from Traverse City, Michigan to Chisinau, Moldova. The sole goal, as a successful candidate, will be to produce value for those clients and keep them happy.

As a part of that goal, a successful candidate can expect to perform the following duties:

1.     Writing letters;

2.     Researching case law;

3.     Drafting pleadings and motions;

4.     Communicating with clients, courts, and other law firms through telephone and email;

5.     Using and interacting with company software tools; and

6.     Calendaring dates.

Our office relies heavily on technology, ranging from Google Apps, Mac OS X, Linux, and cloud-based software products. We use this software to maintain low overhead, provide our clients with better service, and to collect data to understand and increase our business. While a successful candidate doesn’t need to understand how to compile a Linux kernel, he or she will need to be comfortable with cutting edge technology.

Revision Legal is an incredible place to work and we are only interested in candidates who want to continue to make it that way. We believe that you should love your work and we work hard to make that happen. A successful candidate will be compensated in proportion to the value they create.

Requirements:

  • 5 or more years of experience working in the legal industry;
  • Excellent writing and proofreading skills; and
  • A resume and writing sample.

Interested applicants should email contact@revisionlegal.com.
